At the end of Badger's favourite walking lane is a wild rose bush.
I've watched the leaves grow on the bare twigs until flower buds appeared.
Then the first beautiful flower opened.

Beautiful transition.
Single roses are so delicate...this one is beautiful. Did it have a delicious perfume? And I loved reading your post about your 2 cats. I have the same trouble with my boofy boy cat...he pigs out, & then....ooops, back it all comes.
Do you have your X idea for tomorrow?
How did you know I was Mr. Badger? :)
Perfection !
Do like the sequence!
And, Dog roses are always so delicate.
Pats to Badger.
My wedding dress had a pattern of wild roses on it, I *heart* them very much. Thank you for this reminder!
I do enjoy wild roses. Lovely.
What a lovely post. a great transition!
I love wild roses. And antiques, too. We had a beautiful bush at a former house. This makes me wish I'd been smart enough to take pictures. Thanks for bringing that lovely memory back.
