Sky Watch Friday

Just before 10pm last Monday, I saw this cloud gently lit by the setting sun. I took three photos at five-minute intervals.

Love skywatches. My family gets so frustrated with me sitting outside for hours. I just am glued. Thanks for sharing! Kayce

Your 5 mins intervals were timed just right. These are fantastic images over the houses. Bouncing light and shimmering colours. Excellent set I would have been proud to have snapped.

Unfortunately Tom is on bed rest today and for the first time you are stuck with me. I have my orders to visit as many as I can, and make sure the links are working and everyone is being good. I am sure you are all being good.
Tom and I thank you for Sky-Watching this week. I am sure that as soon as Tom's heart beat settles down he will be back here and visiting.

JANE

I have to say how much I liked your Dragon picture.

Very nice! By 10 pm we are all dark. Your shots look like around 8:45 - 9 pm for us.

I only posted 2 photos, but just as you have, I too, wanted to show how rapidly the sky changes at sunset. How neat is that?

Your sunrises are perfect moments!

10 p.m. sunset! I used to live where, in the summer, the sun would stay out late, but now it seems s alien. Year 'round, sunset here is more or less 7 p.m. and sunrise is right around 6 a.m. -- weather also almost never changes. Which means our clouds almost never change. I enjoy the drama unfolding in your clouds. Very beautiful.

I can't decide whether I like sunrise or sunset best. I love the way the clouds move during the five minute intervals. Great idea.

Your skies stay bright quite late! Stunning shots. I confess that I have a much easier time with sunrises than sunsets. I can never seem to stay up that late. ;)
