The Weekend in Black and White

This is a view of another Letterkenny shopping area, taken from outside my favourite café.
You may be able to see, on a facing wall, a notice pointing to an Overspill Car Park.

This is the carpark, or a part of it anyway. I wouldn't like to park there!

Vax

I've been wanting a new vacuum cleaner for ages, but I've not really been able to justify the expense. After all, we had one that worked. I just didn't like it much.
Then last week Hubby and Youngest Son spotted this upright, bagless cleaner in Tesco - reduced. They bought it for me.
I should have taken a photo before using it, but I was desperate to try it.
So this is it after I used it on the hall and living room carpets.

And here's a close-up of the dust cylinder.
Don't forget, this came from just two carpets!

I'm in love!

The Weekend in Black and White

This week I have three photos to show, all taken in Donegal Town.

This old anchor, now holding someone's jacket, has been chained down as a reminder of earlier times.

I'm sorry that I won't be available to visit until Sunday at the earliest, but I'll get around you all as soon as I can.

The Weekend in Black and White

No 'artistic' photo from me this week, just a shot of an unusual object.
This is one of a few sun-and-wind powered street lights in a residential area of Killybegs, a fishing town in Co Donegal.

Much more interesting photography can be found through the links on the Home Page - it's worth a visit.
