The Weekend in Black and White

This is a view of another Letterkenny shopping area, taken from outside my favourite café.
You may be able to see, on a facing wall, a notice pointing to an Overspill Car Park.

This is the carpark, or a part of it anyway. I wouldn't like to park there!

For many black and white photos from all over the world, or to join in the fun, visit the Home Page.

Those waves at the car park was very thrilling - a well spotted photo.

The car park looks like a thrilling ride. I like the mountains in the background of the first shot.

Busy place, I wouldn't park there either! Well spotted and captured!

The first shot is very good in black & white, the shapes and contrasts show up without color distractions. I understand why you wouldn't want to park in that overspill area, but it looks like a skateboarder would have some fun there!

Oh I would park there just for the heck of it...and take a picture of it too! It would create a great visual effect with those natural distortions!

An interesting variety of tones in the first photo and love the undulating patterns in the second one!

Oh why does this parking spot like this? No, no, I would like to park my car there. Do not run it there either. Bubbly, bubbly!
Have a nice weekend!

Great symmetry! It's really cool how the lines do not look straight.

That is the strangest and funniest parking lot I've seen. I wonder if the people who fixed it were sober?! Great shots.

I don't think carparks are meant to ripple like that! :D

Is that wavy effect in the parking lot for real? I'm getting seasick... Happy Halloween!

Mindboggling carpark you have there. Like it´s hypnotizing people to crash their cars in the sharp rocks below.

I like the second shot. It's dizzying. Bet it would be fun on roller skates.

Thanks for your comments. I must buy more Ilford film. It's expensive in the US but the tonal range is sooo nice.
