No 'artistic' photo from me this week, just a shot of an unusual object.
This is one of a few sun-and-wind powered street lights in a residential area of Killybegs, a fishing town in Co Donegal.

Much more interesting photography can be found through the links on the Home Page - it's worth a visit.

I like it anyway. It´s unusual and thats enough I think.
I think this makes a very interesting photograph. I didn't ever realize street lamps were wind or sun powered anywhere.
Interesting object :)

We need a lot of those in my country!
maybe not artwork, but yet it is interesting. Never seen anything like that before. I have some sundriven lamps on my balcony, but they don´t last the whole night.
Interesting object, indeed!
I like it pretty natural. Happy weekend!
Weekend in black and white
Still it looks nice as it is unusual yet so natural! Have a lovely Weekend!
WOW!!! This one is REALLY neat...I love it. Surely wish I could hop a plane right now with my fiddle in tow (I used to go over to the Willy Clancey Music School in the summers) and come see it in person. Very interesting.

A wind and solar-powered street lamp! Amazing sight!
It really is an interesting object. The clouds made it more an interesting photo.
I would love to have a few of those street lights on my street :)
Have a blessed weekend!
Interesting! Like it :)
Sure it's an unusual object, but interesting :o)
Hello Dragon, wind energy, despite being quite old, is slowly gaining ground.
Have a nice weekend

I've never heard of such a thing, interesting concept. Why not take advantage of the wind??!!
That's cool!
It looks more like a scientifc robot than a street light!
It is unusual indeed, looks so like those old time magazines on ufos, lol! Always love your perspective.
Kisses and our love to you guys.
PS: No rush for answering my question, dear, take your time! ;)
