We don't have snails in our dry part of the Northwest, but I remember them from childhood. theya re strange creatures, and this view is definitely an Odd Shot.
That is such a great picture of that snail! Very cool!
Good shot - would never have thought of that one, even though, those slimy devils often crawl up my kitckens windows.
I love this pic, especially with all your garden in the background. It sort of sums up gardening! Jane
Yppee ! Lewis Collins flies !
I couldn't work out what or where it was for a good few minutes!
He looks enourmous! What a fabulous catch.
This made me laugh! The kids and I enjoy picking them up taking macro shots =)

Great snail photo, my friendly Dragon(days).
Thanks for your kind comments.
That "flying snail", must have taken a "flying leap" to get up there.
I'm always finding them near my back door and under my planters. My haven't learned to fly yet.
You ruined it with the explanation. I rather like the idea of flying snails.
Very odd shot! We don't have snails that big here.
Wow! Great Odd Shot. I can almost see the slime!
This is an awesome shot! He looks enormous... cool find :)
Oh, yuk! I hate snails. We had a lot of them in Hawaii.
