Sky Watch Friday

I took this photo this evening (Thursday) at 8pm.
We'd had a showery day, but the weather turned much more pleasant.
Just over the pole to the right of centre some birds are flying home to roost. They should be more visible if you click on the picture to enlarge it.

For many more sky shots, visit the home of Sky Watch Friday
at Wiggers World,
and enjoy!

Like the picture. The birds could easily be seen in the large picture but the clouds seemed to have more form before it was enlarged.

Way cool, Dragonstar! A perfect SWF take. Love the purple in the clouds and the silver sea below.

It seems to be a bit hazy. Lovely sky. We don't usually have thunder storms here, but had a lovely storm this morning. I do hope you are enjoying your summer, in spite of the weather.

I like the texture in the sky and the birds set it off. It's that blasted pole that so irritates me. Wouldn't be so bad if it served any purpose.

I think this is the best Sky Watch Friday yet. The things I have seen are very encouraging and the photography is spot on.

I really admire your photography choices and your critical eye for composition, lighting and texture.

I love the strip of silver light on the water.

I love the layers and the shades of gray. There is a story in this shot. Maybe I'll write it.

Could call this shot pretty in gray. A showery day can be great and specially if it gives picture like this:)
Have a nice weekend gray or not:)
