I love chimneys. I love the different shapes against the sky. I was taking photos early on a clear sunny morning, and I liked the way this one turned out.
The wisps of cloud look like smoke coming from the chimney.
Katney hosts Odd Shots. See her for more oddities.

We still have working post here. Taken at this nagle peeping up, it's somehow quite sinister
It does work, I wasn't sure before.
How very odd, I've posted a chimney too!
And, I have a dragon egg grand-child!
Well, you have cornered the chimney market!
It could have been your Monochrome, no? A specialist ? Aileni?
I like when things are not what they mean to be.
You're right about the clouds — very clean smoke there. ;)
My Odd Shot is A slight disconnect.
Ohhh..I like it too! Simple but very beautiful. Mine is HERE
Rather depends on the chimney, doesn't it, DD?
Fun shot. things don't have to be in the center. I love experimenting.
I agree with you about chimneys - we live in a village where quite a lot of the people still burn wood on their fires. If you walk above the village in the hills at this time of the year late in the afternoon, the chimneys are all smoking and the scene is delightful.
That's great. I did think it was smoke until I read the post. :-)
Oh how neat! It does look like smoke coming from the chimney... that is awesome! =)
That is very different. Funny that I too noticed smoke coming from a buildings chimney just this morning on the way to work.
Neat! You are very observant.
Yes, I really like that. There's something about chimneys....
I love chimneys!
The cloud does look like smoke. A very creative picture.
Winter must be setting in.. so many chimneys are popping up on posts these days. :)
Thanks for your help with my dragons. I fear that I just don't have the talent to raise dragons, but I'll keep trying.
Daft questions!
How do we know the chimney really is a chimney?
Might the "chimney" not be a huge vacuum cleaner which is sucking up the smoke / clouds?
I know, strait-jacket called for.
I love how you framed this! Leaves a bit to the imagination :-)
