Monochrome Monday

I know it's still Sunday, but I've a lot to get posted so I thought I'd start early.
This shot was taken a few weeks ago.
On the left is the corner of Dungloe fire station and the hose tower.
In the centre is the original radio-telephone tower, with the new large one on the right.
The pole at the far right is a lamp post!

Aileni is the originator of Monochrome Monday.
More participants can be found on the Monochrome Maniacs Linky page.
Have a good week.

They are poles apart...

This is an interesting shot. Almost like the lamp post is trying to blend in.

Nicely punned Aileni.

Why do pylons always look like alien invaders in mono. Watch out! Like the severity of the metal against the land.

I usually hate that I can't get a shot of the skyline without wires and phone towers being in the way, however, it works very well for this shot, nice job.

Good picture. It brings bacxk memories of when my kids were young and I told them the telephone was a sleeping Martian and we had to be very quiet when we passed it on the road.

I like all the vertical lines reaching into the sky.

It's such an interesting shot... seems like it needs to be included in a time capsule. Or included in a scene in a movie... something out of the ordinary :-)

It is really interesting... three towers each looking different from each other.

My monochrome shot is posted here. Drop by if you have the time, thanks!

That's a cool shot. Sometimes I think these structures which are such a part of modern life almost look like art. They certainly do in this shot. I'm also enjoying your reflection shots.

One of these days, they'll succeed in bury all these electric lines as they've done with our antennas.
On the other hand, for a Monchrome post, it's a good subject. It misses only a new wind turbine
