Saturday PhotoHunt - Wild.

This week's PhotoHunt theme is
WILD

This is a small but wild patch near where we lived for a few years.

Visit TNChick for more wild photos!

Happy Hunting!

Sunday, 14th September.
(Edited to say a little more in answer to some of the comments.)
There were no fences around this small area, just impenetrable brambles and gorse bushes. There were plenty of blackberries in season - if they could be reached - and the ground dropped away suddenly and quite steeply in the centre! There were violets and primroses in the spring. There were birds, and badgers, and foxes.
All in a space no more than 100 feet a side!

That looks wonderful I miss the overgrown orchard that backed on to our garden but at least it was re developed by a housing associaation rather than for luxury flats. Happy weekend Dragonstar!

suddenly i miss childhood days vacationing in the province... where our playground looks similar, and we get eaten up by bugs but also have the time of our lives :)

my wild is also already up btw :)

Oohhh, it makes me think of Beatrix Potter and Peter Rabbit... are there any blackberries near there?

Love your photo! :)

Do you go and visit there much? Seems like a good quiet place to check out every once in a while. :)

That looks like a great place to hide away. Great to have once had that near where you lived. Happy weekend.

I hope it's still like that! Just not enough wild spaces left...

Thanks for stopping by!

Yes it's wild and does look like a small area behind my house that is too hilly to build on (thank goodness).

It looks wild, dark and scary! Wouldn't like to pass through that path when it's dark.

Have a nice weekend.

When I was growing up we had lots of wild patches on the back fourty. I like the picture.

Pretty wild place there. It looks as if something might pop out from behind the trees and say boo, like a child for example, one who is accompanying you on your walk. Happy weekend Dragonstar.

any backyard, overgrown or neat, is fine by me - because I don't have that luxury of space! haha!

A little wild world inside the world. With your description, I can see it with closed eyes.
