ABC Wednesday - F

Today's ABC Wednesday features the letter F. There are so many F-words (no, I don't mean that word!) that it was hard to choose. I thought Friends, Fur, Feathers, Flowers ..... Too many words! Then I finally decided - F is for

FENCE

Fences vary so much, but they all have one thing in common. They mark boundaries.
This Fence is at the end of our road - a strong, fairly new Fence that just stops!

This second Fence is a very different type, alongside the lane where I normally walk Badger, my old dog. Rather tumble-down, but still a boundary.

If you like the idea of ABC Wednesday, visit Mrs Nesbit for the rules, or click on the logo at the top of this post.

Happy Wednesday!

good post

we've still not got a piece of our fence mended since the storms last year - I thought last night's earthquake might have done more damage but fortunaetly it hasn't

Fences a;so make wonderful structures for vines to climb on and great backdrops for gardens. Can you tell I like to garden? ;-)

The first fence looks like the one my daughter and her family has in Wales.
A very long way to go for visiting grandchildren

TShe first one is a very beautiful natural looking fence. The second one must be just a necessary one.

I think I prefer the second one! A bit bedraggled like me when I've been out in fresh air for a time!

What a good choice for "F" photos! I actually prefer the tumble-down fence. It has so much more character then the newer one.

I've always heard good fences make good neighbors. We live in an apartment and have no privacy, so your lucky you have some boundaries.

Maybe we shouldn't have any fences at all?

I am a bit late in commenting, but better late than never!
