I grew up loving these Dressers. They were beautiful, not just useful. Some of my better-off friends had them in their homes, and I always wanted one.
Some years ago I saw this in a local second-hand furniture shop, and I stood and stared. And stared. And stared. I loved it so much.
My husband and my still-at-home son put their heads together, and bought me an early birthday present. WOW! Now it's MINE!!!
On my Dresser you will see many decorative and important - to me - items, mostly things my family have given me over the years.

I'd better not let my wife see that dolphin clock or she'll be wanting one!
Nice Dresser - and a Dragon - of course! ;)
How perfect for D. Lovely D items which Delight Dragonstar as well as others!
First I didn't find any dragon:( A little bit disappointed... But than!!!! :D
Love your dresser and the decorations on it!
I put a dresser too, but it has nothing to do with yours. Old furniture can be really nice, and when you (or I) have an idea about something for a long time it's wonderful to see it come true.
I love that dresser. Beautiful.
Definitely a dresser! Happy Birthday!
Great pics for D. I love old dressers, too. Sadly, I don't have any space for one in my flat.
Love your Dragon. More than one?
Id go gaga over that dresser to its beautiful.
Happy wednesday
Great DDDDDDDDDDDDDD post there.
great set of D's
A lovely Welsh dresser! Had to be a dragon there, of course!
I know the "stared" and "stared" thing. I went into the store to buy a mattress and saw this amazing bedroom set with it's marvelous cherry wood and awesome dressor and mirror. All I kept saying was "wow". I had to have it. I've been enjoying it for several years now. When people first see it they say "wow" too.
What a wonderful way for your husband and son to honour you.
I was hoping to see a dragon because of the name of your blog! The dresser is great with the combination of drawers and shelves. enjoy...
O wow! That looks like a hutch to me, not a dresser. It definitely is decorative and very delightful.
What a deligtful and thoughtful family you have! You didn't disappoint with the dragon pic either!
Nice piece of furniture where you can show off all your tinkets
Great ideas here, dragons, how neat...we had a donkey years ago, interesting animals
That clock is awesome
Very nice post on D's - it's a gorgeous dresser!
Wa-heyyy! I came looking for d-for-dragons and you didn't dissapoint! LOL!
I should go back and search your blog to see what it is about dragons that engage you. They are rather frightening to me, those plumes of hot sulphurous fumes that come from their mouths, their predilictions for eating damsels in distress, their ability to fly in unexpectedly.
Your lovely dresser has some really nice d things on it. I am not the least surprised that one of them is a dragon.
I was sure there would be a dragon somewhere in your D post and a beautiful one it is too. A great selection of D's :o)
That's a very stylish dresser and your decorative items are certainly beautiful.
I love all your D photos! I am out visiting the ABC gang, but will be back for a closer look at your blog. Thanks for stopping by mine
Happy Valentines Day to you and all your family.come and see my Valentines message

Miss Yves
I love dressers, too and this one is beautiful. The donkeys are so cute!
Of course Dragons!
I love antiques. We had an antique dresser once, and it could usually be found covered with the dirtiest D-word I know: DUST!
Another great set of pics, my dear. You are so clever!
