I passed this Dock plant many times. Then I saw this one new leaf, curled and pale at the edges.
"Oh" I thought, "It's like that because it's so new"
Not that I'd ever seen one like that before - and yes, I've looked at many Dock plants because I kept goats, and goats really like Dock leaves.
Several days later - light and sunny days, I should add - there it was, still pale at the edges, looking as if it wanted to be a specimen plant in someone's garden.

It is unusual, isn't it.
Odd indeed and well shot.
Pop and see my Odd shot also Beamish time traveling
Another good spot. It is unusually pale isn't it. Can't hink of dock leaves without thinking of stinging nettles and childhood.
Nice shot .. is it a plant you are familiar with or do you think some spores from another plant blew in and grabbed on to the existing plant? Inquiring minds want to know! LOL.

Nice shot.
It's a lovey shade... curious what caused it. I would think, in general, lack of water... but don't imagine that's the case here.
That is curious and well observed. :)
Maybe it's a" mutant" leaf !
I didn't even know the name for this plant before you mentioned it Dragonstar.
Have a nice day.
Good catch! I never heard of the plant before. Now you will have to look for others like it in the future. If I were there, I would keep checking progress of it and see if it dies before the darker ones or what. Maybe it is just different, like people in one family?
Never heard of a Dock plant. Believe this one is a little sickly, or just the "runt" of the litter. =)
How unusual, it looks like it hasn't had enough sun!
That is strange, I get dock in my garden, very difficult to get rid of!
Sort of sticks out like a sore thumb, doesn't it? LOL
Looks like it was grafted on... very interesting! Love the varigated greens and yellows..
Needs Iron maybe.
Odd
