The fact that the change in pavement surface coincides with the break in the shadows seem to suggest there is a wall there - it has quite strange effect on perception. Like one of the perspective puzzles in the old Annuals.

It has an image within ans image feel. So many opposing shadows and lines. I like this a lot. You are very observant of these kind of images.

Oh nice capture, not just the bench which on its own it quite good but with the shadows of the grill/wrought iron .. extra nice!!!!

No, I did not know....
Infact I went to Ramsey a few weeks ago,I have some shots of the Abbey and Arms houses...
(which you will see) lol
Do you remember much from there?
We come under Huntingdon CC.
We are about 20/30 mins from Ramsey...
