Dydd Gwyl Dewi!

I know I'm rather late with this, but I want to wish all my friends a very happy St David's Day.

Dydd Gwyl Dewi Hapus i chi gyd!
(Happy St David's Day to you all)

The photo shows my miniature daffodils taken from just above the ground. Don't they look tall?
The daffodil is the national flower of Wales.

I always wanted to learn Gaelic. My mother is from the Austrian Celtic regions of the saline Alps. I feel a special affinity for all things Gaelic, and feel I can almost understand the languages when I hear them spoken.

So that's what it means. Daffs such an iconic emblem of Wales and spring.
