The first thing I want to do today is apologise to all of you that I didn't manage to visit last week. I was lagging further and further behind, and I finally gave up. Sorry!
Anyhow, here I am today, all ready for another week.
This week, H is for
HOSPITAL
This is not a general hospital, but cares for elderly invalids. The small wards and the day-room are on the right. The central part of the building houses offices and consulting rooms which are used for outpatients. The wing on the left is the Health Centre, containing two doctors' surgeries and the Health Service dentist.
The main part of the hospital recently celebrated its 50th birthday.
More H entries can be found through the dedicated page.
come and join the fun!

That looks like a pleasant place to recuperate.
It reminds me of the communtiy hospitals that we used to have. Some of them still remain as clinics but most are closed in favour of large, centralized institutions. They used to be called Cottage Hospitals, which I think is a very comforting name. I enjoyed your post.
No apologies necessary .. sometimes life comes first
Nice H ..
That looks like a very nice place to go if you need to.Is sounds like they take good care of the eldery in your nice town.
A nice Human-sized Hospital.
A modern and neat building to improve
health
of
human beings .
It's interesting to learn how care is given in various places. Your hospital looks quite inviting. Otto and I, in our much younger days, used to entertain (guitars and voice) at the equivalents here in our own community. Golden oldies, of course.
It looks quite nice for a hospital. Still, best to stay out of there ;-)
It looks peaceful and very pleasant for a hospital. Too bad they couldn't all be that way!
Hullo!
H for Helena Here!!!
:)
Just before we left Crystal Falls they closed the community hospital. It was a sad day.
Your community is lucky to have a hospital.
Hullo again!
Thanks for popping by :)
BTW, this building looks very much like the hospital in Colchester. Not the big General, a wee little one in the town.
I bet people get great care here! Bigger hospitals are sometimes way too big.
MY ABC Wednesday post is at
More of Me - EG
No need to apologize and it is a great shot and does indeed look like a great place to recuperate! Thanks for sharing!
What a nice looking hospital....I, too, did not make it to everyone last week...I am trying to do better this week....
It does look like a friendly place for humans who require it. Lovely photos.
good ambiance for a hospital
What a peaceful place!!
I sometimes have trouble getting all of my visits done each day as well, so don't worry, we understand!
That looks like a lovely place. I'm sure the people who use it are grateful for the peace and quiet - and the pleasant surroundings.
It does put our so called new revamped one to shame. Don't be daft apologising for not doing the rounds. So many now in the bloggosphere that it just can't be done.
