Monochrome Monday


Hot off the press!
Twisted Honeysuckle in our garden this morning.
Yes, those are leaves!

I have to tell you that we have been kneeling on the grass for the last couple of days to see if it is growing ;-) So these leaves make me happy! Even if they are monochrome.

Oh I am feeling much encouraged by the little shoots I saw this weekend as well as these new leaves ... of course we're due to get more cold weather later this week but for now in addition to losing an hour to Daylight Savings Time its RAINING .. sigh ...

Is this the new camera? The light and textures are reall enhanced in monochrome. This is excellent enlarged too.

I have had to enlarge to look at it and determine what is leaves and what is branches ! The confusion is enhanced with the use of B&W;
Nature create such unusual creations.

I looked for signs of spring the other day and found a few.Then today it snowed again. oh well it is pretty. Your Twisted Honeysuckle is lovely.
