Monochrome Monday

I'm combining two themes in this post.
Naturally, Monochrome Monday (hosted by Aileni, and with many contributors on the Maniacs Linky.)
And Deja Vu, the idea of JC at Castle Ruins. This was brought to my mind by the Monochrome post over at My True Colours.

This photo was taken back in 1975, developed and printed in our own darkroom, and scanned into my computer recently.

That's a wonderful stylish building for Monochrome. The symetry of the decorations fits with a B&W shot.

I always wanted to live in a house with spires, they are so mysterious and out of the norm. Love that shot!

I do see the blue connection. That's such a pristine image for a scanned image over 30 years old. Lovely looking architecture too.

I was thinking, lying in bed an hour ago, how strange to have taken that shot back then so that it might appear here and now by a synchronous event.

When I was a child it was my fervent dream to live in a turreted room. I never made it so I'll have to dream about your photo instead.

Those chimney pots are really unusual, much more interesting visually than the common sort.

Lovely shot - the subject is perfect for B&W photography. Where is the building, BTW? It looks a little familiar.

They don't build with that much detail anymore. Such a shame. A very nice building, makes a very nice monochrome.
