Saturday PhotoHunt - Hope.

I'm SO late this week! An unexpected visit from my 6 month old grand-daughter rather enjoyably disrupted my blogging plans today!

The theme this week is HOPE.

We've had an unusually long spell of frost and cold winds. Any shoots above the ground were burned by the weather.
This hyacinth shoot had grown about 3-4cm above the ground. As you can see, the tips are burned, but the plant still has HOPE. The flower bud is struggling to grow and to open, ready for spring.

For more scenes of HOPE, visit TNChick.

Happy Hunting!

Great choice for the theme and I hope that the little plant makes it! I had looked outside here but couldn't find any new shoots so had come up with something else!

Your granddaughter does sound like an enjoyable distraction. My daughter is expecting her first son, and our first grandson, in a few months! I can't wait!

I can't believe there is a plant growing somewhere right now! lol Perfect shot for the theme. I hope it toughs it out and provides you with a beautiful flowering plant.

I visited twice on Saturday but didn't see a new Photo Hunt. Still, remained hopeful and am glad my hope bore fruit! :)

You are late Dragonstar. I came by earlier and was surprised.
I always feel sorry for those bulbs which are fooled by the weather. But I hope they will manage to make a display for you.

Have a good weekend.

Your granddaughter's six months old already? Heck - where did the time go?

Beautiful. I am hopeful one day we will be seeing buds. Unfortunately, that won't be for a while.
