I've decided on a complete change for this round.
I'm taking you on an alphabetic tour of my locality, all within easy strolling distance from home.
I'll start in Main Street, Dungloe.
This is Arthurs
(I write the name as seen on the building.)
Nice medium-priced jewellery and gifts, nothing to break the bank.
And there's a bank opposite, on the other side of the road.

The Allied Irish Bank.
But the door is closed, so maybe I'd better just go home.
This is the sign on the fence at the end of our road.

Ard Mor

ABC Wednesday was started by Mrs Nesbitt.
More participants can be found through the Linky page.
Why don't you join the fun?

A nice grouping of A's here. Arthur's little shop looks like one I wouldn't mind browsing through.
Good theme. And nice set to start you off.
Ard Mor - Husband loves Ardbeg malt and Bowmore. I wonder if he has one called Ardmor. It's quite possible in amongst his collection.
What a great idea : ). I love creative minds and ideas. Brilliant. That bank door is very pretty and bright!
Nice A's I too would like to visit Arutur's shop. I love the very blue door.
Great idea! Love the photo of the door to your local bank! Great colour.
That's a fun idea!!! As it happens I've been looking for A's too, for Melli's photo challenge. But it can't be a real A, and that complicates the whole challenge a lot!
Thank you for the tour!
I've just been told (by Luvbug) that we went pretty near to you when we were in Ireland- we travelled past Moll's Gap and on to Killarney. This would have been not to far from you (?)
BTW I tried to leave a message on your new blog but it wouldn't go to the comments page. Waah!
What a nice idea - I shall enjoy the tours of your area.
What a nice selection of As and I am tickled to think I am going to get to see your whole village over the next 25 weeks
This will be a fun theme. I'm looking forward to seeing your locale.
You have done old street proud.
What a great idea for a theme! I love the pictures. :)
Oh good! It'll be so much fun to tour your town. ;-)
That looks like a nice place.
Beautiful A's! You are right the paintings are very beautiful and no matter what nationality or name he has, it is art!
BTW the last A looks like a Celtic word.
Hello, Miss Dragon! :o)
Here I am today just checking my emails and visiting some friends. What a lovely idea, to show your place through ABC!
