Saturday PhotoHunt - Aftermath.

The theme this week, for TNChick's PhotoHunt, is
Aftermath.
The word has several meanings, but I've chosen to illustrate an individual definition - the consequence or result of an action.

These two collared doves were seen two days ago, mating on the roof of our bird table. The early aftermath appears to be fluffed-up togetherness. No doubt the later aftermath will be a nest-full of eggs. They look very pleased with themselves!

To see more takes on the theme, or to join in the fun, visit TNChick's comments page.

Happy Hunting!

And they're mates for life...I always find that's my thought when I see doves together. Very nice!

That's a nice take on this week's theme - great shot. Those collared doves don't have make a racket, though, with that shrill 'eeeeeeeeee' noise they emit. I've hopped back aboard the PhotoHunt bus this week. Have a lovely weekend!

I love this one!" Fluffed up togetherness does appeal to me. :)

Great contribution to the theme. We had a pair of Mourning Doves nesting in the trees in our backyard until a hawk paid a visit last evening. Now there's only one dove left.

Speaking of Mother Nature, my contribution shows the aftermath of a weather event in the Caribbean.

That's a very cute take on the theme! It did not inspire me at all, all I could associate with aftermath were ugly and messy destruction scenes. Fortunately there are other meanings for aftermath as well . Like yours!

I have never seen a baby collared dove was my first thought on reading this. Now I will be on the hunt. Not part of this neme(too many) but I do lurk on the images and interpretations of which this is a good one.

these two are so pretty.
Just the other day a dove was sitting on my stoop waiting for me and wouldn't budge until I put the key in my door.

Nice shot. At first I thought your aftermath would be something to do with the white stuff. Glad to see it wasn't, although I believe that stuff would be considered aftermath as well! ;)
