Saturday PhotoHunt - Self

This week's PhotoHunt theme is SELF,
which has been explained as
yourself or part of you.

I wouldn't want to give you pictures of parts of me - most of them don't stand close scrutiny these days! - and I didn't really want to post someone else's photo. So off I went looking for reflections.

I have two for you.

In my kitchen I found my stainless steel ladle.

And there's a mirror in the hallway.

That's me.

For a huge collection of interesting SELF photos, visit the one-and-only tnchick who had this great idea.

Happy Hunting!

Thats pretty clever, taking a photo of yourself in the mirror. Nice concept. Have a good week.

Excellent photos Dragonstar. I like the reflection ones. You would never know the last one was a mirror shot.

The lady behind the camera. Two excellent choices. These can be messy kinds of photos but you've captured them perfectly. Very expressive eyes young lady, age is in the head and the heart.

The Manx fairies ahs weaved their magic and we have glorious sunshine. Must be TT.

Weird but true -- I'm getting a kick out of seeing people's cameras as well as visages in their self-portraits... ;b

That door handle pic is so good! Very clever indeed! ;) Have a great day and happy photo hunting! :D

Great shots! And you're braver than I am. Mine are bits, but small bits :) Somehow it felt less worrying than actually having my face there.

Excellent idea!!! That was really using your brain on the whole concept. I like it.

Mine's posted. "I'll show you mine if you show me yours". [and it's not what you think! ::giggles::]

Both are great, I especially like the second one :-)

Good job. Great views. I didn't think to hide behind my camera--even a little like you did. Instead I hid behind a few years--well quite a few.

Those work! My parts don't hold up to scrutiny either! Nope! I did find ONE though!

Wonderful! Both creative shots. (BTW we love dragons around here as well and my son insisted on adding a few of my toy dragons in my self shots. :))

You did well on both, but the mirror shot is very well done. It can be a bit tricky with mirror shots :-)

Very clear shot on the mirror! I don't want to post my face too but I did, lol, don't be scared...

Nice shots and a great idea. Good to meet you. Happy weekend.

I like them both, the first one is more artistic, and the second one shows you the way you are. I always find it nice to be able to put a face on "a" blog! It's no longer "a" blog, it's you now!

Nice to meecha! :D This week is fun getting to "see" everyone or their parts. I was surprised when I read the second shot was a mirror shot - well done!

I don't know HOW I missed your ABCW post, but just read it. Unique post and interesting read.

These are wonderful photos. Well done!! I've tried doing my reflection in the mirror, but not with as much success as you had. Maybe I'll try it again one time, haha.
