Garden Visitors

This afternoon I was just about to step out through the kitchen door when I saw this at the end of the garden.

Two baby chaffinches looking so sweet!

Then along came Mother with some food.

Mother flew off, and so did one of the babies.
The other one stayed for a rest.

Fast asleep in the sun.

Aaww... They must feel very safe in your garden, otherwise the mother wouldn't allow them to stay there! This is a good sign! :) They do look so cute!!

Oh these are so cute. I agree to have them hopping about so low must mean they feel safe. Lovely photos.

That's so sweet. I love the sunbathing picture at the end... Well done getting the shots, it must have been great to watch them. I always find it such a privilege. Jane

OH! How sweet! I'm taking pictures of a dove and her two babies for a future post. When they fledge, I'll let you know. I LOVE birds. But I love Hubby more for letting them stay where they are - stupid doves! LOL!
