Saturday PhotoHunt - Twist(ed)

Time for Saturday PhotoHunt again, and this week's theme is Twist or Twisted.

I found a lot of twists in and around the house, but I'll only show you three today.

First, the twisted treats beloved by Badger (my dog), two kinds, each made up of two flavours twisted together.

Secondly, the twisted handle of my fruit basket.

The third photo is of part of the staff given to me by a friend some years ago. This wonderful piece of wood came from near a holy well about 15 miles away from here. As you can see, it has a very twisted surface.

There you have my three photos for the twisted theme.

To see more twists, visit Tnchick.

Happy Hunting.

Lovely shots! The staff, was it carved into that shape? It looks like a snake twisted around the staff.

Excellent - again. But then, should we expect less?

I love that staff. For some reason, walking sticks touch my heart. Odd. I wonder if I maybe made them in another life? hmmmm... Where's a good psychic when you need one?? ;o)

Have a wonderful weekend, my friend.

Oh lots of great "twists" around your house.

Have a great day!

the twisted wood looks like a snake in a twig!

The staff is especially intersting. Is it one carved piece of wood or is it two branches/trees grown together?

YTSL said...

Great photo choices. The dog treats look nice enough for humans to eat! And that twisted staff looks like there are snakes winding about it!

I'm a little late getting back to everyone. I was up the lake all week at the cabin. Thanks for visiting my twisted tree picture. Unfortunately someone did that on purpose to stunt the tree's growth. In fact, there were about five trees twisted in a similar fashion. - Margy
