Malus

I went out into the garden late this afternoon, and this is what I found.

This decorative crabapple was bought and planted by my youngest son about two years ago. It has lovely deep pink flowers, as you can see, and the leaves have a purplish tinge too.
Soon it will be covered with beautifully scented blossom.
