ABC Wednesday - M

Today's letter is M

M is for

MABINOGION

The MABINOGION is a collection of very early Welsh legends and folk-tales.
Two of the above books are beautifully illustrated.
One of them is in Welsh.

I'll pick just one of these, sit down, and drink a nice

Mug of Mocha

For more ABC Wednesday participants, visit Mrs Nesbit.
Don't forget to read her post - it's hilarious!

Happy Wednesday!

It´s intresting with folk-tales! And if you can drink a cup of good coofee at the same time that will perhaps be double effect!

Legend and folk-tales are always very interesting. I think we should have much to learn out of them today.

Aahh... folklores are the best! :) There are beautiful ones here in Brazil as well... I don't think I know any Welsh tales, though. Gonna research at the net about it. Hope you enjoyed your reading & mug of Mocha! Kisses from Nydia, Miss Dragon.

Marvellous ideas!
The Mabinogion tales were important in the culture of Britain (Bretagne)
In Britain and Normandy , mugs are used to drink cider .

I visited Wales in 2002 and I was impressed by the way the Welsh people had cared for and restored their old culture.

Ok I have to ask, what is it with the dragons? This is from soneone who lives on an island where we talk to fairies for good luck( even though i'm a brummie. So you've been to the Isle Of Man then. Think we are fresh out of dragons, but if i see any..

Bt w inspired choices for M,and sorry for not responding earlier but the fairy folk have been disrupting the server here. I shall return.
