I took this some time ago with my old camera, so the quality isn't quite what I've come to expect. It's still one I like, which is why I'm posting it today.
It's the lifeboat on the stern of the small ferry in use at that time. I've always liked the sight of a small boat hitching a ride on a bigger one!Many more Nautical photos can be found at the home of the PhotoHunt.

It's a great shot and a fitting contribution to PhotoHunt. I like the "boat on a boat" idea. My PhotoHunt is a more commercial take, but with a Caribbean twist.
I love the little hitch-hiker! I also love it when you see barges with small cars on deck, or large camper-vans towing a small car.
Whenever I see nautical photos I wish I lived by the sea. ;-)

That picture brought back memories of working on an ore boat and trying to launch one of those things for a required safety drill. In all honesty we all would have drowned.
