Saturday PhotoHunt - Bridge(s).

The theme this week is bridge(s).

This foot bridge spans the Dungloe River near the sea shore. It's narrow and surprisingly steep. On the right is an unsurfaced carpark, on the left a field and a kiddies' playground. I would not like to push a stroller over this bridge!

Edited later to show the bridge as I'm about to cross it.
It looks a bit like the bridge to nowhere.

Happy Hunting.

you have caught it beautifully.

It does look ppretty steep. Not fun if there's ice on the ground! That said it is a wonderful scene. Happu weekend!

But the bridge does look sturdy. Pushing a stroller can't be that bad.
Great picture.

I like the clouds behind the town it looks like a storm moving in. That is a really cool bridge.

Lovely photo :-) I am not sure I would be happy walking along it!

It looks a nice spot to spend a little time - I'd love to sit on a rock by the river, on a sunny day. Who's bright idea was it to make the bridge so steeply curved? It looks pretty, but it's not very practical.

That is a beautiful bridge, but the trip with a stroller would be hard, you're right! My hunt photos are up, please come and visit soon

What a charming place. I love the bridge and the whole scene.

The way the bridge is shaped, and what with the bright blue sky in the picture, I got to thinking it resembled a land-bound rainbow! ;b

Oh that bridge is pretty. I might try that one. Steep you say? Good post!

Oooh, your comment about pushing a stroller off the bridge sent chills down my spine.

It looks pretty to me.
I would not like to cross that if I have too many things to carry.
Happy weekend!

Love those kinds of bridges.

Great photo of a great bridge Dragonstar. Is it arched like that so boats can go underneath?

Happy weekend to you.

It may be steep but makes for a good shot.

Nice bridge but if its steep, better be careful :)

Happy weekend!

A lovely little bridge, if a bit steep! That second shot does make you wonder. Does it stop mid-air? Does it go on to infinity? Who knows? And the hand rails look as though they fall a touch short.

Have a good weekend! Hope you haven't had too much snow. I think I spotted a little in the photos.

A 'bridge to nowhere'...seems I've heard that a lot during the political scene this last year. LOL

But I do like both photos very much.

Come on over and see my bridge photo[s]. Two photos, but one bridge.

Happy Hunting.

I'm with you, no stroller pushing for me. I think the builder should have considered making a few steps to get the walker started on the uphill climb.

I wonder why they made it so steep...seems to be a rather tranquil bit of water under it. Really like that second shot!

donno why this kinda bridge give me an ol' school feel...

Well, I'd try it but without a stroller. It looks like a beautiful bridge!

Yeah it really looks steep, and scary to cross, ;-). Nice shot though. Here's mine http://www.mirasblog.com/2009/02/photo-hunt-6-bridge.html

You could toboggan on that bridge, if you had a little snow!

Mine is here...

they've built some bridges like that over the Tawe, in the Landore area.

I agree, it does look steep. Lovely photo in the winter sunshine.

I especially like the shot that makes it look like a bridge to nowhere.

Beautiful bridges and photos! :)

At first I didn't understand why you wouldn't want to push a stroller across the bridge.

But, wow what a great perspective shot you gave us of this bridge.

It is steep. You got a really great shot there.

Happy weekend!:-)

Lovely photos for the meme.
The bridge was very nice also.

It, indeed, does look like the bridge to nowhere, but that makes it full of mystery... :-) Great to be back in the hunt and to be visiting your page again!

Both bridge photographs are wonderful! I enjoyed the perspective on the second especially. I shared 'bridges' at both Sacred Ruminations and Happily Retired Gal this weekend.
Hugs and blessings,

So pretty! I love these shots. And they make me think of another bridge I could have used in my own post! This photohunt was perfect for me. http://angela.quarantinemb.com/?p=608
