Monochrome Monday

This is an old hotel in Main Street, Dungloe.
Anyone local would realise that it was taken several weeks ago, because the sun is shining brightly!

Monochrome Monday was started by Aileni.

Have a good week!

This building has always begged for this B&W treatment. Great.

The nice thing about monochrome pictures is they seem so old.

Great subject for monochrome.
And, that sunshine makes all the difference.

It has the look of a lot of old Irish - and Welsh - pubs.

I agree with Dr. John. This picture looks vintage.

Nice ... and it looks as if it belongs to another time ... gentler time ..

If you hadn't said when it was taken, you could have added grain and given it pretty much any date you liked. B&W does lend timelessness to a scene doesn't it?
