Another of the Chimney Sweep Series.
I like this as an Odd Shot, not only because chimney sweeps are uncommon in most places, but also because of the way the second brush makes strange lines across his face. Because of this, it's not a shot I would otherwise post, although I like the arrangement otherwise. Maybe I should ask him to go back again to pose for me!
Odd Shots is hosted by Katney. More participants can be found through her comments and/or blogroll.
Have a good week.

Great capture on the shot
Scary perch he has there! Since the Philippines is on the equator, we have never had any need for chimney sweeps. Chimneys nowadays don't need cleaning?
My Odd Shot is about Plastic, metal, wood.
He looks like the pole has stabbed him in the neck.
All he needs is a stovepipe hat! And Mary Poppins, of course ;-)
I love it, Dragonstar!
Haven't seen a chimney sweep in years. The house I grew up in had coal fires, so the sweep was a familiar sight in those days. I'll never forget the screaming and general hullabaloo when something went wrong one day, and the sweep brought a mass of filthy coal dust tumbling down into our newly decorated parlour. I thought my mum and older sister were going to die of hysteria! I was about nine at the time, and thought it was hilarious.
We have chimney sweeps, but I have never seen anyone actually do the job. Now, that is odd!
I am so glad we don't have to sweep any more...lol
But! miss the constant warmth from the chimney breast.
Never seen it done from the top before....
Excellent, I didn't realize it wasn't your Monchrome. It looks like a drawing of Norman Rockwell in the day to day life. It's perfect for me.
That is an odd shot but it's a good one. I've only ever seen a chimney sweep in Mary Poppins.
:-)
I am glad now that I did not use my pictures of him on our chimney - they aren't as good as these.
I never seen one up on the roof sweeping a chimney before! Neat shot indeed!!

There are still a few chimney sweeps around even in my part of the world, but with gas logs replacing wood and coal burning fireplaces, the need for them is dwindling.
He must have some kind of balance!
wonderful capture!
That's a very nice series you did there, I have never seen them do it in our neighbourhood!
Seems funny seeing someone sweeping the chimney from up there. We don't have many homes around here now that would need a chimney sweep.
Great shot!
hi, my sweet friend. Just stopping by to say that I miss you and love coming here.
Take good care!
