Monochrome Monday.

A chunk of wood beside an old dry-stone wall.
It looks as if the wood has been used as a chopping block.

Monochrome Monday is Aileni's idea.

I had not seen that before - it is really classy. Love it.

I think dry stone walls are very attractive too.
We saw a demonstration there is an art in stacking them, lovely old lump of wood as well.

It's the fairies axing logs for tables again. That's my silly theory but it's a perfect subject for mono.

Oh, I love it. When I lived in TN we had an old stone fence that ran the length of our entry road. Great shot!

Stone walls are such great subjects for monochrome. This is a beauty!

Nice observation! The sort of thing that Robert Frost would have written about :)

It does quite - and makes a very nice counterpoint to the old stone, too.

The weathered wood blends in with the stone too.
