That the dragon is encircling books gives the idea that it is protecting wisdom - especially because its expression is both fierce and benign. I like too that the dragon is exotic but the image domestic. A nice blend.

Wonderful shot with shadow - are 'dragons' descended from the dinosaur, I wonder. I was just at the Natural History Museum with the grandchildren. one of whom bought a a very flamboyant, dragon-like dinosaur!

Oh neat. I don't think I would like it hanging in my room. It's a little to spooky for me. But it does look really great in black and white. I like that it is a round mirror.
