I agree with Three Rivers Michigan the do look like sea creatures. I would like to have that railing around my porch.

I think the curlicues look like a duck...well...sort of. You do find the best shots.

The eye is drawn directly to the people. The railing is such a strong element but I think this photo is really about the two people. Excellent B&W picture.
