I just spent some time with Second Daughter.

She has a Jasmine Becket-Griffith Goth Fairy on a stand with plenty of space for more!

When she switched on the light I fell for the shadows.

This would be a better photo if Daughter didn't keep the stand well above my head!

Glass Vase in Sunlight

This lovely Ukrainian hand-cut lead crystal vase was a Crystal Wedding gift from my father back in 1987.  It's survived several moves, and still looks perfect - particularly when caught by a beam of sunshine.

Stitch Markers

I've been doing quite a bit of knitting recently.
I use stitch markers to keep track of certain pattern changes.
These pretty silver and crystal markers are called 'April Showers' and are beautifully sparkly.

Gas (Butane)

Cans in a cage.
We have no piped gas, so these cans are much in demand for cooking.
I have a gas cooker - never affected by seasonal power-cuts!
