I like this shot so much. Good capture of your daughters waiting on their photographer mom and I like how you got the stairs and reflection in the glass.
So many rails and stairs - it looks like a complex construction!
I'm determined to make this station a stop off for b&w, but have not made it yet.
Great shot!
Oh yes, I've had the same 'mad at dad' feeling by my sons. They can't stand it when I have to take just one more photo.
Still, I think patience is a great thing to develop in our youth, don't you. :-)
David/ Houston B&W
The last time I was in Paddington it did not look so new world...amazing what they have done. Your shot is amazing. The linear qualities I love, and you did a fine job capturing the reflections. Genie
Hmmm, it must be universal, I get the same thing all the time.
Lots of wonderful lines!
Great and cool b&w shot!
Looks like a scene out of a futuristic world inhabited more by robots than humans....
Lovely capture that includes your daughters too.
Mad indeed! They have no idea how photographers are compelled to make images. This is lovely. I like the balance between your two daughters and the complex geometry of the building. The light is lovely.
The busy-ness of the station's glass, rails, and signs contrasts with the simple figures of your daughters and their bags. A really interesting shot!
I like the picture -- and I'm glad your lovely daughters stood still for it because the human element definitely makes it a perfect photo.
So bright and airy. Looks great in B&W...maybe too complex for color
What a a perfect spot for a black and white photo! Nicely captured! I hope I remember to take a few shots there when I go to London.
great image...love the complexity of lines!
Like others, I like the lines and corners... and having your daughters in the image gives it warmth, even if they are about to trash you, LOL! I know the look, believe you me!
excellent POV
Nice of you to include your daughters the make this all glass and steel space look a bit more human and give it a proper human scale too!
The thumbnail links are great too by the way!
Excellent black and white photography.
Regards!
That's lovely.
looks like a weird place. Your daughters look so calm in a place I find a bit disturbing.
lovely shot!!
A lot of line... I like this picture very much :)
