The Weekend in Black and White

Staircase

Thanks for all your good wishes last week. I'm glad to say I'm very much better now.
Last Wednesday Aileni and I collected Eldest Daughter from Derry. We found this wonderful staircase from the multi-storey carpark down to the shopping centre.

Wonderful black and white photos can be found through the Home Page.

That's a pretty snazzy stairwell for a garage, it has a lot of great lines.

That staircase is made to order for black and white photography.

Good to hear you are feeling much better!

Great composition of angles going from light to dark!

It is a wonderful staircase. The light and shadows are marvelous, the geometric shapes fascinating and the glass block tops it all off.

Thanks for the kudos. I too favor the first shot in my series. There's something about the mood that just works. My Minox adventure was short lived but not a total loss.
