The Weekend in Black and White

Before Christmas I slipped on some ice and pulled a tendon in my leg. Many nights were spent sleeping (if that's the right word!) downstairs in a chair. The days were spent scooting about in my computer chair. Then I was lent a pair of elbow crutches - what a difference! Now I can get about a bit more.
These are the crutches, just waiting for me to get up and walk.
Maybe I have too much imagination, but I think they have a very kind and caring look.

Visit the Home Page for more black and white photos.

I WISH YOU ALL THE VERY BEST IN 2011.
MAY THE BEST OF THE OLD YEAR BE THE WORST OF THE NEW.

They were lent through kindness and care, to make your recovery easier. I agree that they show those qualities. Get well soon!

I'm sorry you hurt yourself and hope you are on the mend. I like the lean of the crutches and the shadows, good shot. I use a cane for walking and I photographed it for a mono weekend shot some time back, but haven't put it up yet.

Wishing you all the best in 2011.
Cheers

Although a great capture in terms of b&w photography, I certainly wish you haven't had to have taken it!
My best wishes for a great New Year and please get better!

And of course, thanks again for keeping The Weekend in Black & White!

those crutches are great tools. Luckily I never needed them, but my daughter did. She used them a lot when she was younger. :)

Hope you´ll be ok soon.

Very suggestive posture, these crutches. Locked in embrace? Save the last dance for each other? United they stand?
