The Weekend in Black and White

We have had a week of unusually early winter. Normally our autumn hangs on past the end of November, and snow waits until after Christmas. This year is different!

I took this photo in our neighbour's garden last Sunday.

Visit the Home Page for a great collection of black and white photos.

I've heard that a lot of places in different parts of the world are having unusually early snow storms. Beautiful shot!

Lovely photo and we have also an early winter in Sweden this year. So I suppose the snow will stay over X-mas.

Seems that several parts of the world are experiencing unexpected cold and snow weather. Makes for beautiful photographs!

The snow is good props in the picture. But it is hard to photograph snow. But I think this is good. Great shot.

The snow on the leaves looks so delicate. Lovely mono :)
By the way, I never see snow straightly...

Snyggt när snön ligger kvar på bladen. Här blåser snön ofta bort från bladen.Ha en skön helg. Anita

Lovely picture of the plant dressed in snow...

Tash said...

I like REJEN's comment...dressed up in Sunday white. So many unusual contasts, cold snow-warm sun, sub-tropical plant all covered in snow.

Better stay at home blogging;o)
Thanks for sharing your beautiful pic;o)

I love your shot. The angle of the sun gives it interesting shadows.

It is the same in Sweden. Too early for hade winter. I am tired of it already.

Our first year in snow country and it came early!!! It's snowing right now!!!

I really like the photo...like Tash said...interesting contrast between the subtropical plant and the snow!!!

The neighbour's garden - where the grass is greener and the snow is whiter? Neat shot with the ray of sunshine on the snow covered leaves.

The snow really accentuates the graceful curves of these leaves. Really beautiful shot!

Aw, it just remind me of something in the snow. This looks very nice. Hope the plant still grows, but I'm afraid not on its cold winter season.
