The Weekend in Black and White

A building seen behind the theatre in Letterkenny.
It seems to be wrapped in quilted aluminium!
I couldn't resist the odd lines and the reflections.

Quite a mix of lines going on in that building

It reminds me a bit of the swimming pool in Belfast I used to go to - perhaps they had the same architect! It seems to contain a lot of staircases.

I like the reflections too. There is some odd geometry going on here. I like the way the trees work in counterpoint with the architecture. I wonder what the architect was thinking when he/she combined the lines of the window mullions and the verticals on the stair rails with the strong diagonals. I think about stuff like this because I'm a retired architect so I get to criticize. lol

Criticize the architecture not the photo. I like your image.

Thanks for your comments on my playhouse - yes, the house was almost burned down, not much left! No one lived there at the time, and not only the police but also insurance company got "the idea": Owner of the house had interest and wanted to build a new house on the ground. The local authority answer was NO!
I hope you understand what I'm trying to tell ;-)
Blogging is great and visiting lots of bloggers gives new friends and memes as yours. You are on my list now :-D
Have a nice weekend!

Reflections are so wonderful for combining contrasting images that adds interest to a composition.
