The Weekend in Black and White

LAST MINUTE

It's always the same this time of year - somehow I leave something to the last minute!

The first photo was taken by my son, because he liked the shadows. I've just started the first sleeve for my grandson's jumper.

I took this photo after putting my knitting down on the kitchen counter.

I won't be seeing Grandson until the day after Christmas, and I'm sure I'll have it finished by then.
Won't I?

Plenty more black and white photos can be found through the Home Page links.

Go for it. But if it isn't ready then you can start a family tradition of New Year's Day presents! Here's wishing you a happy christmas

They are wonderful shadows...I'm sure whenever you complete the gift is will be appreciated because it is hand made with love. Happy Holidays to you and your beloveds!

If you're able to finish it, you're really fast! I like how each of your fingers are contributing to the work, it takes a lot of coordination.

Of course you will... you have nothing else to do on Christmas Day, do you?!
Merry Christmas and a Happy Boxing Day to you!

I'm not participating in The Weekend in Black and White this week because I'm so behind it's pathetic but I wanted to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and thank you for keeping this fun meme going. I love these shots and whenever you finish it I know it will be great.

YOu are going to have some aching joints....but ya gotta keep on knitting. I can tell those hands have held needles for many, many hours. I knitted compulsively until this year when the osteo in the thumb joints got so bad I had to give it up....and oh, how I miss it. Now I carry my iPad and read books while I am waiting instead of knitting. My spinning wheels are sitting still and all alone waiting patiently for me to return. Hope you ge that jumper finished. Persevere and you will do it. Love the shots. genie
