The Weekend in Black and White

Reflected Reflections

I was sitting in the car, one bright day, waiting for Husband and Second Daughter to return from their various errands, when my attention was caught by all the reflections in the wing mirror.

You can find many more black and white photos from all over the world through the links on the Home Page.

Cool how you have reflections in the window, reflected in the mirror. I think mirrors make superb photos .

What a great reflection. I love how it curves the building in such an interesting way.

Definitely more dramatic in B&W :)

Wing mirrors; an oft' neglected subject. Nice set of reflections. I took a few in Namibia on the dirt roads, you get great dust formations behind a 4x4 on those roads.

I love rearview mirror images and this one includes the car window, too. Excellent composition. Very sharp and clear. Thanks so much for posting. kareninkenai (Weekend in B/W)

Love it! The details are more pronounced when the colors are toned down to neutrals!

Great double reflections.

Nice! Your photo's a good example, I think, of how having a camera around can inspire one to view one's world in a different way and find beauty in the seemingly mundane. :)

This is great, it even has a reflection of the photographer's hand and the camera!

Amazing angle looks like u used a fish eye lens to capture it. The distorted view makes it more appealing.

This has to be one of my favorites for the week. I am always trying to get a good shot from the side mirror, but up to now have had no luck. Maybe one of these days I will be successful. Your photography is wonderful. Thanks again for doing all the work to keep this meek up and running so beautifully. It is such a treat to see the photos each week. genie

Wow that's really great, to capture that.

Would you feel OK to email me your address? If I had it before I've mislaid it- sorry- it's just that I'm drawing up an address list for Xmas cards...... no, I'm not really organised, I just thought if I could print them all out on stickers I wouldnt have to write them all LOL
