They look rather like sea serpents, but they do have small wings.
I love the way their tails entwine.

Wonderful image!
What a great window. They do look very fierce in the detail.
I like the too shot with the period street-light alongside it.
I agree about the tails and the fierceness! I wonder what that braid would look like in hair...and if I could do it on my own hair! Hmmm...
Amazing that those are to be found at a hotel since they don't look all that welcoming! :D
These dragons/winged serpents really don't look very friendly, but what a unique window sculpture. I agree, the entwining tails are fascinating. I really like the drama and detail of the close-up.
Nice shots Dragonstar!
Great shots :) Thanks for hosting BW!
Nice window and nice dragons!
nice piece of art. Glad you noticed it. Thee are many details on that window. :)
Great capture! Very nice little dragons in B&W!
Thanks for sharing;o)
¤ Have a nice and happy weekend ¤
ps: Mildred and Cildemer are the same person;o)
Seems most architectural detail not only invites black and white photography, but demands it for best results. Well done, Dragonstar!
The serpents are amazing! I'll be in London in a few months and I'll keep my eyes open for this!
Of course they are dragons. Might it be why you were drawn to the image? Lovely details and an excellent B&W rendering.
On of these weekends I might help out but not this time. My wife and I celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary on Sept. 11.
Modern architecture lacks this character, there are subtle details everywhere in these images.
Love seeing the dragons in close up!
Not often do you find sea serpents upended on two out of four legs! Very impressive! Grand in monochrome!
Nice black and white photos with interesting details.
Regards!
so beautiful views .. very good eye !!
nice weekend to you and yours,
cordially - isabella
The close-up is particularly good.
Gosh, what a strange and interesting window!
their tails are my favorite part too...great photos!
Nice shots!
Dragonstar, I would love to make the selection for the weekend of September 9th to 12th. You can count me in as a volunteer
the detail here is very beautiful. splendid shots.
Such great details! Wonderful images!
Beautiful photos, really fantastic, such as snakes, dragons
The Loch monster or dragons maybe...I love the first one....beautiful shot of a nice little architecture.
wow - they do look fierce close up. The window is so very ornate. Do you know if the building was always a hotel, or maybe something more exotic in the past?
