The Weekend in Black and White

I have to tell you that I had a wonderful time with my daughters. We went so many places and talked so much that we only slept a few hours each night! We spent one (short!) night in an hotel, where I found this electric plug apparently hanging in mid-air. If you look closely, you may see part of Elder Daughter reflected behind the glasses.

Visit the Home Page for many more black and white photos. Maybe you'd consider joining us.

A very inclusive composition with all shades of black and white in between, above and below; difficult
to tell your shooting position. Then your daughter
appears - wow!

What a fine image you gave us of such a simple and uncomplicated scene. The lighting is wonderful especially on the glasses. And, yes, I could see that little bit of your daughter. So glad you had such a good time. Genie

I'm glad you had a good time! It was photographically good, also, judging from this shot!

this is a shot I really like, and you are right, it looks like it is hanging in mid-air.

Nothing more fun than a family visit and a girls weekend! And especially when its both combined. Glad you took your camera along.

My sign-in links to one of my posts from earlier this month about the Oregon country fair, which parades featured dragons. I thought you might enjoy it.

Whoah that's weird! It really looks like it's in mid air.

Thank you for the lovely comments re Scooter- I've posted a wee update and some photo's today. No results from the vet yet but all things crossed! Meanwhile he is purring away....!

Funny shot with the "floating" plug. I like it though! You really have a talent for B&W. :)
