I like the shallow depth of field - the rear half is nicely blurred. In fact, it looks a little like a wooly hat to keep warm in autumn :)

I love acorns. And your shot is great.
I use to wait to they opens and you can see the inner nut. Often there are nice patterns on the surface of the half, divided, nut.
