Nice. Nowadays, things break after a few months/years. y 86 years old mum still uses her own mum's Singer, the one with a pedal

Rob: this machine - a "portable" that's too heavy to carry far - was bought by my mother in the 1940's (I think) and it was second hand then!
Tom: I used to sew a lot, on this machine, but very little now the children are adult.
