I always enjoy when you post an image of a mundane everyday object. You have your way of making it appear extraordinary. The itmr on this photograph can be an ancient ruin, a monument or a modern artwork... Great work as always!
Stumbled upon this blog quite by accident, but enjoy photography! I agree with other comments regarding the texture of the stone & also the contrast with the smooth wood & plaster. Works really well in B&W, which simply serves to enhance all of the textures and the contrast.
