Great B&W shot. I haven't seen Catkins for many years. When I was a kid my parents had a Pussy Willow tree hanging over the fence from the neighbours yard & that always had Catkins on it.

Great capture of the variety of tones and textures. Love how the catkins suspend so delicately.
The catkins does makes itself very well in black and white, nice texture and variety of tones in your images.
