The Weekend in Black and White.

Miniature Sunflower

Back in May my granddaughter gave me a tiny flowerpot with seeds.  One of the seeds grew and flourished.  It became a beautiful sunflower, just four inches (10 cm) tall, with a perfect flower over an inch across (about 3cm.)

Every week there are many excellent black and white photos to be found through the links on the Home Page.  Why not join us?

Cool, I've never seen a sunflower that small.

This sunflower looks so delicate... not a word I would have used of a sunflower. So lovely.

Beautiful ... and so fine, lines on leaves to be seen; as well, the petals...
