The Weekend in Black and White

I'm late posting this weekend - my elder daughter is visiting, and the house is packed most of the time!

I had to change a light bulb recently, and I realised what fun shapes it had.

Many more black and white photos can be found through the links on the Home Page.
If you like black and white, it's worth a look!

Amazing what we see if we keep our eyes open. These light bulbs do have wonderful shapes.

Many objects around us in our daily lifves are well worth a closer study, like this one. Fascinating reflections, the surface well captured.

It is a fanatastic and amazing (hmm same word? lol ) this piece of revolution I must say. Beside that I love your photo of it and it is interesting to watch. I might find something I can do as well. Thank you for your very inspiring works :)

I tried to change one of this type while it was still warm, and the curly glass bit snapped off in my hand. It actually unravelled a bit, and snapped in about three places! Now the base of it is stuck in the light fitting and can't be changed, plus it makes a high pitched hum when I switch on the others on the same fitting (it was a group of three). Whoops!
