Dragon Box
Some time ago a friend sent me a lovely little trinket box with the Welsh Dragon inlaid in the lid in mother-of-pearl. The dragon's shape is just right, although he should properly be red, and he glows beautifully against the dark brown wood.

Yes, indeed, a red dragon. But then the box would need to be green. And then you would have to hide it at the back of the wardrobe ...

Before reading your notes, I immediately thought the dragon was made of mother of pearl. It is a beautiful piece. It falls into my special category of “one of my treasures.” You friend certain has wonderful taste. A wonderful gift.
